Our payments go through Link, a Stripe company that is the merchant of record for every Quits order: it takes the payment, handles VAT and sales tax, and issues the receipt. That's why the charge starts with LINK.COM* instead of our name.

If you don't recognise a charge, look for a receipt from Link in your inbox, or write to support@getquits.app.

Because Link, Stripe's merchant of record, handles the sale on our behalf, so the receipt and the invoice (both attached as PDFs) come from Link. We send you a separate email with the link to your Library.

Lost the receipt? Sign in at link.com with the email you paid with to see your orders, or ask us.

With the methods the payment page offers: cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link, plus some local methods depending on where you are. PayPal isn't available.

You pay as a guest: your Account opens with the email you use.

Euros, US dollars or British pounds, always with the same number: an app at 9.99 costs €9.99, $9.99 or £9.99. The Store picks a currency from your browser's region, and you can change it.

Prices include tax in every country, VAT or sales tax: what you see is what you pay. If the payment page offers your local currency, the rate is Link's and is shown before you pay. You can always pay in the Store's currency instead.

The more apps you own, the less the next one costs. Your Level counts the different apps you own from the Store plus the new ones in your cart:

Pair, 2 apps: 10% off. Three of a Kind, 3 apps: 20% off. Full House, 5 apps: 30% off. All In, 8 apps: 40% off.

The app that reaches a Level, and every app after it, gets that Level's discount, and in a cart the biggest discounts go to the priciest apps. Sign in before checkout so we can count your Library. Levels aren't retroactive, refunded apps stop counting, and a refund never changes prices you've already paid.

Full House and All In need more apps than the 3 on sale today. The ones you buy now count toward them as the next apps come out.

No. The Mac App Store is a separate Channel: apps bought there belong to your Apple account, get their updates from Apple, and don't appear in your Library or count toward your Level. A Quits License doesn't unlock the Mac App Store version either.

On Quits, the same apps cost less than on the Mac App Store.

Up to 5 active Macs at a time. A Mac is active when the app has been opened on it and has checked in with us in the last 90 days.

There's nothing to deactivate: a Mac you stop using drops out of the count on its own after 90 days. Each app's About window shows how many Macs are active.

A key is revoked automatically in 2 cases.

A 6th Mac became active. We email you a new key right away, at no cost. On each Mac where you use the app, click the button in that email, or choose Activate again in the app. A Mac counts for 90 days after it last checked in, so a Mac you just replaced may still be in the count. If it looks wrong, write to us and a person will look at it.

The app was refunded. Then there's no new key, and the app stops working with that License.

Only once, to activate: the app opens your browser, you sign in, and you're sent back to the app, activated. After that it works offline.

When it's online, it checks its License at most once a day. If you're offline for months, or our servers are down, the app keeps working.

Yes, all of them, forever. Every update we release for an app you own is free: no paid upgrades, no "version 2" to buy again. Updates arrive inside the app.

If we ever turn an app into something with a different purpose, that's a new app, and the one you have stays yours.

Download it from your Library, move it to your Applications folder and open it. Click Activate: your browser opens, you sign in, and it sends you back to the app, activated. You never type or paste a key.

Because you don't need one. Your Account opens with your first purchase, using the email you paid with. To sign in, we email you a link, or you use Apple or Google.

No password means nothing to forget, reset or leak. Keep your email account safe: it's the way into your Library.

You probably paid with a different email from the one you signed in with, for example if you used Apple or Google. In your Library, choose Paid with another email? and enter the address you paid with.

We send it a link: once you confirm, the apps bought with that address join your Library, and you can sign in with either email.

No. The Store has no ads and no tracking cookies, and our visitor statistics (Umami, on our own server) use no cookies and don't store IP addresses. The apps contain no analytics.

To count active Macs, an app sends us a code made from your Mac's hardware ID, never the ID itself. The Privacy Policy has the details.

You have 30 days from purchase for a full refund, no questions asked. That's longer than the 14 days EU law gives for online purchases. Write to support@getquits.app from the email you paid with, or tell us that email and your order number.

We issue the refund through Stripe, Link confirms it by email, and the money goes back to the payment method you used. You can refund a whole order or single apps.

Its key is revoked, with no new key, so the app stops working on your Macs the next time it checks in. It also stops counting toward your Level, but the prices you paid for other apps don't change.

You can buy it again whenever you like.

macOS 14 Sonoma or later. Some apps need a newer version: each app page shows the exact requirement.

Every app page has a Demo that runs in your browser, so you can see how the app works before you buy. There's no trial to download: the 30-day refund covers the rest.

We do. Every app on Quits is a Quits Original, published by ProAF, a small independent company in Arezzo, Italy. The people who write the apps also answer support, in English or Italian.
