Onda

Italian for “wave”

What it does

Paste a link and Onda saves the video, just its audio, or the picture without sound. Choose the quality or audio format, queue a playlist, and find everything in a searchable history. YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and the other sites supported by yt-dlp, with the tools downloaded at first launch.

Keep what you need

Video with sound, audio, or video without sound. If the site gives only a combined file, Onda separates it on your Mac.

Quality and formats

Best available video or a limit from 360p to 4K. Audio as M4A, MP3, WAV or the original format.

Playlists and a queue

Save a playlist with 1 click, with 1 to 6 downloads at a time and a stop button for each.

A history you can use

Search by title, author or site, filter video and audio, then open, drag or reveal a file in Finder.

Signed-in sites

Choose a browser where you are signed in, and Onda uses that session for videos that need it.

Access to your download folder

Full Disk Access (optional)

No tracking

No analytics: what you do on your Mac stays on your Mac. The app contacts us only for its License and updates.

What you get

From the House Rules, the same for every app.

  • Pay once. Never a subscription.

No renewals, and no reminder to cancel in time.

  • The app you buy is yours for good.

It checks its License offline, so it keeps working even if our server doesn't.

  • One license, 5 active Macs.

A Mac counts while you use it. One you stop using drops off by itself after 90 days.

  • 30 days to change your mind, full refund.

    No questions asked.

  • Every update is free, forever.

No paid upgrades. An app that changes purpose is a new app, with a new license.

  • No ads, no tracking, nothing sold, in the apps.

    The app contains no analytics.

Questions

All questions
Can I try an app before buying it?

Every app page has a Demo that runs in your browser, so you can see how the app works before you buy. There's no trial to download: the 30-day refund covers the rest.

How many Macs can I use an app on?

Up to 5 active Macs at a time. A Mac is active when the app has been opened on it and has checked in with us in the last 90 days.

There's nothing to deactivate: a Mac you stop using drops out of the count on its own after 90 days. Each app's About window shows how many Macs are active.

Does the app need the internet?

Only once, to activate: the app opens your browser, you sign in, and you're sent back to the app, activated. After that it works offline.

When it's online, it checks its License at most once a day. If you're offline for months, or our servers are down, the app keeps working.

Are updates free?

Yes, all of them, forever. Every update we release for an app you own is free: no paid upgrades, no "version 2" to buy again. Updates arrive inside the app.

If we ever turn an app into something with a different purpose, that's a new app, and the one you have stays yours.

What if an app isn't for me?

You have 30 days from purchase for a full refund, no questions asked. That's longer than the 14 days EU law gives for online purchases. In your Account, choose Refund next to the app under Your orders. Can't sign in? Write to support@getquits.app with the email you paid with and your order number.

We ask Stripe for the refund at once, and the app stays active until Stripe confirms it. Then Link confirms the refund by email and the money goes back to the payment method you used. You can refund a whole order or single apps.
